Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Location: CHAVAH LINDSAY Studio, 686 Nerepis Road, Grand Bay–Westfield

ASDS Pilot PD Days mean a day off school. Instead of screens and boredom, give your teen three hours of focused creating in a real sewing studio. They will learn skills, use professional equipment, and leave with something they are proud of.

What they will make
Before class, I will email a list of project options so they can choose what interests them. That lets me prep fabrics, prints, patterns, and materials ahead of time.

If they plan to attend more than one Pilot PD Day, they can take on a longer or more detailed project. If this is a one time class, we will choose something that can be completed within the three hours.

Project examples include:

  • Clothing like skirts, lounge shorts, or boxy tops

  • Tote bags, zipper pouches, or crossbody bags

  • Smaller makes such as scrunchies, bookmarks, pencil cases, or ornaments

Who this class is for

  • Teens ages 12 to 16

  • Confident beginners and up

  • New sewists welcome if they can focus and follow instructions
