Sew Your Own Valentines and Drawstring Bag

All materials included

This February mini series lets kids design and sew their own fabric valentines plus a custom lined drawstring bag to carry them in. They’ll stitch, decorate, and create something completely unique that feels far more special than store bought cards.

Sundays | 4:00–5:30 pm
• February 1 and February 8

Mondays | 6:00–7:30 pm
• February 2 and February 9

Wednesdays | 6:00–7:30 pm
• February 4 and February 11

Sunday Add On Option | 2:30–4:00 pm
Current Sunday students can extend February with our one day Sewn Valentines Bridge Class to continue sewing before Winter Wear begins. This is just a one session option!

What they’ll make

• A set of fabric valentines with stitched sayings
• A lined drawstring bag to keep them in

• How to thread and safely use a sewing machine
• Straight stitching and pivoting
• Sewing curves and heart shapes
• Backstitching for secure seams
• Simple bag construction
• Basic appliqué and fabric design
