TRY SEWING SESSION ✂️

This is how most students start

Always wanted to try sewing but not ready to commit to a full month yet?
This is the easiest place to begin.

The Try Sewing Session is a one-time introductory class where new students join a real studio class and are guided through their first project from start to finish.

No experience needed, I’ll walk you through everything step by step.

What to expect

• Learn how to use a sewing machine
• Start with a quick practice exercise to build confidence
• Create a beginner-friendly project (such as a fabric pouch or scrunchie)
• Small group setting with lots of one-on-one help

This takes place within regular studio classes, so students get a real feel for how everything works.

Who it’s for

• Complete beginners
• Kids, teens, or adults who want to try before committing
• Anyone feeling unsure about jumping into a full class

Available for kids, teens, and adults. Students are placed into the appropriate class based on age.

Class length

Sessions take place within regular studio classes:

• Kids: 1.5 hours
• Teens: 2 hours
• Adults: 2 hours

A limited number of Try Sewing spots are available in each class.

What happens next

Most students who take this class continue into the monthly sewing sessions.

That’s where skills really start to build, and students move from beginner projects into full garments and more advanced work over time.

If you/your child enjoy the class, I’m always happy to hold a spot for the following month.
