When Anglophone South School District PD Days mean a day off school, give your teen something better than screens and boredom.

These 3-hour studio sessions focus on practical sewing skills, creative thinking, and completing projects they’ll actually use (and want to show off).

Students work inside a real design studio, use professional equipment, and receive hands-on guidance throughout the session.

What They’ll Make

Before class, families receive an email with project options so materials can be prepared in advance.

Most teens who attend PD Days end up coming back for future sessions, which means projects often grow into bigger, more exciting builds over time.

Project examples include:

• Tote bags
• Zipper pouches
• Crossbody bags
• Scrunchies and accessories
• Dresses
• Tops
• Skirts
• Other custom project ideas

New students often start with a bag or smaller project so they can learn the basics and leave with something finished. Returning students are welcome to tackle larger or more detailed projects.

• Teens ages 11+
• Beginners and up
• New sewists welcome if they can stay focused and follow instruction
